How to find a WordPress user ID for KBoard integration
WordPress user IDs are useful for specifying post authors and automated tasks, such as the author of AI-generated replies. Find a user ID easily with the steps below.
📌 1. Open the admin page
- First, sign in to WordPress Admin.
📌 2. Open the user list
- In the left sidebar, click Users → All Users.
📌 3. Open a user profile
- Click the desired username in the list to open the profile editing screen.
- The URL will look similar to the following:
Plain Text
https://yourdomain.com/wp-admin/user-edit.php?user_id=7
✅ 4. Find the user ID
- The number shown as user_id=7 in the URL is that user’s ID.
- In the example above, the user ID is 7.
💡 Notes
- IDs contain numbers only.
- For automated system tasks such as AI reply authorship, create a separate account and enter its ID.
- The default administrator account usually has an ID of 1.
